KG Design is engaged with a ‘seat-at-the-table’ for the overall design direction of this 50m superyacht. It is undecided if the yacht will be used exclusively for the owners, be sold or go into charter. The progressive design takes all scenarios into consideration.
 

The yacht was built in Auckland and now in a Brisbane dry dock, KGD is working closely with the owners and designing all internal layouts, finishes and custom joinery.
 

The project requires KGD’s multiple skills to meet the client’s expectation of achieving 6-star luxury as seen in the renders on the following pages. Skills include space planning, expert knowledge of different veneer finishes and construction processes, furniture design and sustainable best practices where possible.
 

Our complete scope of works is being undertaken internally at our studio in Newstead.
