Should I DIY or engage an Interior Designer?

Updated: Feb 5, 2023

For the month of February, our leading interior design studio is offering a limited number of 1-hour zoom calls with Keeley to help answer your home building or renovation conundrums.

If you enjoy the challenge of managing your own project but have some burning interior design questions, or you don’t have the budget to engage a full-time interior designer, this could be a great option for you.

Areas we can help with:

  • Floor plan revision & ideas.

  • Construction & refurbishment ideas.

  • Exterior design.

  • Cabinetry & custom furniture reviews.

  • Schedule selection.

  • Furniture layouts and selections.

  • Home décor selections.

  • Paint and wall treatment selections.

  • Window coverings.

How it works:

  • Call +61 7 3122 7458 or email us at for your time slot. For February we are pleased to also include our summary of top suppliers for entry, mid-range & luxury price points. The cost of the zoom call is just $450/session. Please keep in mind you potentially have a lot of information to collate prior to the zoom call.

  • Collect as much visual information as you can about the questions you have. If you don’t plan to be zooming from your project, create a mood board or do both for maximum impact. This will give as much information as possible as quickly as possible given that we have just 1 hour.

  • If you’re asking about selections that you’ve made, be sure to have information about each of the items all in one place. This way we can run through them quite quickly. Canva is a great free online app to visually put all information for each room together onto one board Home - Canva

“I’m thrilled to be able to allocate time in February to help bring peace of mind to your renovation and/or building selections. To contribute in a small way to the creation of a beautiful future home and/or investment for you. I’m also pleased that 10% of our fees from this service will be donated to RizeUp Australia | Domestic Violence Charity – DV Help”, Keeley Green.
